ESRS 1 - 2: General Principles & Disclosure Requirements

ESRS 1 and 2 are the cross-cutting reporting requirements that are mandatory for all organisations in scope of the CSRD, while the other standards will only be applicable for the organisations that consider them as material.

The ESRS 1 and 2 serve as a guideline for the general sustainability reporting. Here you will find guidelines for:

  • How the organisation operates
  • Reporting on the business model of the company
  • How stakeholders are involved in the strategy formation of the company
  • An explanation of the double materiality principle
  • The information to be disclosed about material impacts, risks and opportunities related to sustainability aspects.
